Ongoing, Holistic Independent Financial Advice
We provide holistic and independent financial advice. Our advice is different for every client we see. We don't have a list of pre-defined services, strategies or products. A core part of our philosophy is recognising that every client is different and our value lies in our ability to provide financial advice tailored for each client's individual circumstances.
We work with clients to build and implement a financial plan for them. We consider and discuss alternatives, we help clients understand their choices and trade offs. Once a decision has been made, we assist clients to put their plan into effect.
Part of our work is the ongoing management of our client's financial plans. We work with them to ensure they stay on track to make modifications where the situation dictates. Our clients tell us they value the ability to have conversations about issues or challenges they face with someone who understands their situation. Financial confidence comes from knowing that we will always be honest with them and do our best to help them.

For discerning families that want to ensure there are no conflicts or biases in the advice they receive, Tupicoffs is the obvious choice. It's great to know that the advice you are receiving is always going to be in your best interests.
We are Independent Financial Advisors. We don't use the term 'independent" lightly. "Independent" is a controlled term under the Corporations Law. Only financial planners who can meet a rigorous set of standards set out under Section 923A of the Corporations Act can describe themselves as independent or unbiased.
Anyone who receives any form of commission or sales incentive cannot call themselves independent. Similarly if ownership or control exists with a financial product provider then the term independent cannot be used. There are only a very small number of financial planners or financial advisers in Australia who meet the definition of independent.
All our financial planners have signed our Declaration of Independence and confirm annually they meet all the criteria to be called independent. Independence is an important part of who we are and what we do.
Our Fees.
Tupicoffs charge an annual fee. This covers all our work for the year. There are no other fees or charges for preparing Statements of Advice or implementing recommendations and financial advice, nor do we charge asset based fees.
We do not receive any form of commission or remuneration from financial institutions. Each year our clients have the option to re-engage us for another twelve months
Our fee varies for each client based on the amount and complexity of work required. After our initial meeting we will send a client agreement and a price for our work. Clients can make a decision about whether they wish to use us after they have received our client agreement and fee quote, and had time to consider them.
If we don’t think we can add more value than the financial advice will cost then we will be upfront about that as well. We won’t take on clients unless we believe we can add value relative to the cost.
